Donation for the Zhengzhou Rainstorm Flood Disaster on July 20, 2021
On July 20, 2021, an extraordinary rainstorm unprecedented in a century struck Zhengzhou, capital of Henan Province. Subway stations, hospitals, and schools were flooded, causing widespread emergencies and significant losses across industries. Disaster relief became an urgent priority, and governments, organizations, and individuals in Zhengzhou joined flood-control and relief efforts. News of the disaster spread nationwide through major media outlets, personal media, the internet, Douyin, and other new media platforms. Under Party leadership, the spirit of 'when one place faces hardship, help comes from all directions' inspired nationwide support, with contributions of funds and effort, and support teams rapidly rushing to Zhengzhou. Many organizations and individuals donated to charitable foundations across the country, with funds earmarked for Zhengzhou's reconstruction. Our organization also followed the situation and learned that Zhengzhou's education system was severely affected, requiring major repairs to school infrastructure before students could return to classrooms. Accordingly, our organization contacted the Shanghai Charity Foundation and donated RMB 5000, designated for repairs to schools in Zhengzhou's education system. We hope this modest contribution, together with many charitable donations, will help children return to classrooms and continue their studies as soon as possible. This reflects the responsibility and obligation of our social organization, and we will continue to fulfill our social responsibilities.
